From the unique Rein deer herders Taiga Mountain in Khuvsgul province to the amazing Gobi Desert, Mongolia is a land of stunning beauty. We recommend visiting these off-the-beaten path destinations which are well kept unspoiled nature and ancient nomadic culture.
If you have heard of the saying ‘you will be sent to outer Mongolia if you behave badly’, you are almost right about Mongolia until 1990. It was probably the place for such punishment with its communist regime and closeness to outside world other than former soviet-union countries. Going to Mongolia as a tourist was nearly impossible for westerners considering that there was only one Tourist Company in Mongolia owned by the state and brought and handled about 2000 tourists mostly ‘communist tourists from former soviet countries and only 17% or about 375 tourists from Germany, UK, US, China and Japan. At that time, infrastructure for tourism industry was not more than tour company and two 3 star hotels in the capital city Ulaanbaatar.
It was the ideology of communism that had bound Mongolia hiding its long history, beautiful wildlife nature, rich nomadic culture and its hospitable people that were not scary to the badly behaved children. The world did not know what great place it was until the democratic revolution hit in 1992. With hunger for new world, Mongolia opened its arms to foreign tourists allowing them to see true Mongolia. The one tourist company was privatized and opportunities for common people to start private business became real. Tourism started being developed into a promising sector by 1995 with more hotels built and more air planes landing in Mongolia.
In 1995, the Government started putting more attention to the tourism sector as a result of the World Bank and Japanese International Cooperation Agency’s comprehensive study that was to determine new industries that would bring Mongolia most promising profit in the near future in order to help overcome the transition period into free market economy. The study analyzed tourism industry to be the number one new sector among most promising sectors in Mongolia.
The world is now retelling Mongolia’s history and discovery of its rich tradition with extraordinary culture and astonishing nature now has become the desire of thousands of tourists to see today’s nomads inhabited from ancient ruling of Genghis Khan’s time.
Today annually the number of tourists came to Mongolia has reached merely 200,000 while International tourist arrivals reached 1,138 million in the world. So if you are the person likes to go to off the beaten tour destination here we can help you for making your joyful and peaceful holiday. www.newmilestonetours.com

Gratitude and Entrepreneurship

In the bible Jesus healed 10 men with lepers. The unhealable ill of that time till death. But he cured them all. They all went happily but only one returned to Jesus and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thank. Jesus said where are other nine and he was disappointed. Why is gratitude important? Let’s think about it. Well could we reflect upon our lives as individuals. We will soon discover much to prompt our personal gratitude. Can we think about how grateful we are for our mother, father, teachers, and friends? All it starts from what they have done to your life. Thing of every detail and big and small things. Observe your feeling to come. How does it relate to entrepreneurship? The pursuit of opportunities is the essence of entrepreneurship. We define an opportunity as a future state that is both desirable and achievable. We also make a distinction among ideas, possibilities, and opportunities. The process of identifying and exploiting entrepreneurial opportun...

How will you measure your life?

I had some take away from the article “How will you measure your life” Harvard Business Review. It is always difficult to someone what to do, especially to your family members, boss and investors etc. Many smart people don’t tell others what to do, instead inspire them. Clayton M Christensen shared the story of how he influenced “Intel” chairman Andrew Grow about insisting him produce “Celeron” CPU for the market. It was not good approach to advice directly what to do. But he was talking about the model and how it helped Nucor and other companies. Basically, he was not telling him what to think rather how to think. From my perspective it was about helping him to make a right decision with conflicted communication technique. Sametime I think why it is that way. Why it is not simply telling directly what is the best way? Clayton M. Christensen understands the complicated world including the rank of people, professional communication, business culture and many other things. He co...

Modern Mongolia

Some may think Mongolia is endless steppe and Gobi Desert and men on horse galloping. That is true only in some parts of Mongolia. One third of the population is nomadic and almost half of the population is living in the capital city Ulaanbaatar. The city is a mix of ancient Buddhist temple, soviete period block buildings and modern architecture. This is central hub of all the country for trade and supply. The railway comes from Russia to all the way to China. Highways connected all the 21 provinces nowodays. Ulaanbaatar has the only international airport and becomes the central spot for tourists around the world. The heavy traffic and sky scrapers in down town surrounded by ger district and mountains is the main image of the city. Shangri-La, Best Western Permium and other chain hotels provide comfortable hotel stay while some ger camps offer unique stay outside of town. If the visitor reluctant to eat local food can choose western meal restaurants Bluefin, California, Nazk...
